Have you ever just gotten to the point that you wanted to just shut everything off and get away? Fortunately, we had a perfectly timed trip to evacuate KY and spend some quality time with Kevin's dear DC group.

We had zero cell phone service. This isn't even a picture from one of our phones. That's how necessary this trip was. Between grilling meats, beers flowing, tubing down a random river near Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina, and replacing words in songs with "tube" to annoy Grant and Rhett, we are chalking this trip up as a memorable one that we need to replicate soon.
